Our children's pastors strive to teach your children about the love of Jesus Christ. We provide a safe and exciting environment. We believe each adult serving in our children's ministry has been called by God to serve and teach children. The children's sanctuary is very attractive and "kid friendly". We welcome you and your child to stop by and take a look around and meet our children's pastors.
"Fun Time in the Lord is our Goal!"

Thomas Akers
Children's/Youth Ministry Director
Lynn & Chad Tenny
3rd - 6th grades
Chad and Lynn have served in some capacity of Children’s Ministry for approximately 10 years.
Lynn served as the Way of Holiness Nursery Director in 2003; 2004 - 2009 as the Assistant
Children’s Ministry Director and 2009 – 2013 the Director of Children’s Ministry. They have returned
to their calling after stepping back for five years to serve on the Children’s Ministry Team.
Lynn and Chad have been married 25 years and have raised two children. Chad works
at Weyerhauser and Lynn is a Court Reporter for the WV Supreme Court of Appeals.
God has given them a love for the youth of this Church. It is their heart’s desire to
equip the children with the foundation of Biblical truth and to help them cultivate their own personal
relationship with our Savior, Jesus Christ. It is vital that children learn who they are in
Christ prior to their teenage years.
They consider it an honor to serve the children and families of this area and are encouraged by
the growth that they see in their students.

| Christian Whetzel
Christian has served in children and youth ministries in some way for the past eleven years. Being raised in church her whole life, she has seen the need for kids to learn Who God truly is at a young age. Her prayer is that our kids will feel and know God's love for themselves, and she considers herself blessed to be a part of that ministry.
She is a radiology technologist turned stay at home mom of two adopted boys with special needs. Christian has aquired some training when it comes to special needs. She has personal experience handling difficulties that some children have, and it is her passion to help and child that is stuggling with the world around them.
