Prayer Shawl Ministry

Our Prayer Shawl Ministry knits/crochets prayer shawls of various shapes, sizes and patterns.  The shawls are prayed over, anointed with oil and placed in the treasure chest at the front of the church.  They are available for anyone who would like one, either for themselves or to give to someone else.

The ministry is based on Acts 19:12 - "So that from his (Paul's) body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them."  

It is our desire that the person receiving a shawl will feel the peace, presence and comfort of the Lord. Anyone who would like to learn to knit/crochet is also welcome to attend! For more information, please call Vicki Hommes at 304-439-5303 or email her at fvhommes@aol.com.
