By the leading of the Holy Spirit the men in our ![]() Father's Blessing and Pledge
The Blessing
1. Fathers must pass His Word on to the next generation.
“For He established a testimony in Jacob, And appointed a law in Israel,
Which He commanded our fathers, That they should make them known to their
children; That the generation to come might know them, The children who
would be born, That they may arise and declare them to their children, That
they may set their hope in God, And not forget the works of God, But keep His
commandments;”
Psalms 78:5-7 NKJV
“Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one! You shall love the
LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your
strength. “And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart.
You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when
you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when
you rise up.”
Deuteronomy 6:4-7 NKJV
2. Fathers must pass His promises on to the next generation.
“For the mountains shall depart And the hills be removed, But My kindness
shall not depart from you, Nor shall My covenant of peace be removed,” Says
the LORD, who has mercy on you. “O you afflicted one, Tossed with tempest,
and not comforted, Behold, I will lay your stones with colorful gems, And lay
your foundations with sapphires. I will make your pinnacles of rubies, Your
gates of crystal, And all your walls of precious stones. All your children shall be
taught by the LORD, And great shall be the peace of your children. In
righteousness you shall be established; You shall be far from oppression, for
you shall not fear; And from terror, for it shall not come near you. Indeed they
shall surely assemble, but not because of Me. Whoever assembles against you
shall fall for your sake. “Behold, I have created the blacksmith Who blows the
coals in the fire, Who brings forth an instrument for his work; And I have
created the spoiler to destroy. No weapon formed against you shall prosper,
And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn.
This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, And their righteousness is
from Me,” Says the LORD.”
Isaiah 54:10-17 NKJV
3. Fathers must pass His covenant blessings on to the next generation.
““Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, ‘This is the way you shall bless the
children of Israel. Say to them: “The LORD bless you and keep you; The LORD
make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The LORD lift up His
countenance upon you, And give you peace.” ’ “So they shall put My name on
the children of Israel, and I will bless them.”
Numbers 6:23-27 NKJV
The Pledge
I will, as a man of God, pass His Word, His promises and His covenant on to
the next generation and the next, to the best of my ability.
I ask you, Father, let your Spirit anoint me, let your presence be known through
me.
Let me be an example to my family.
Forgive me for my failings; forgive me for the times I have not brought honor to
you. Strengthen me to stand for righteousness in a lost and dying world.
And I will lay my hands on my children and grandchildren and audibly bless
them in the Name of Jesus; so help me God.
Amen.

Our purpose is to provide an environment for men to grow in their relationship to the Lord, encouraging and inspiring men to represent Christ in every area of their lives. Our objectives are that they attend Men's Breakfast, which meets on the first Sunday of every month, to regularly meet with another man for accountability, and to be available to help other members of the body that may have needs.
