Our children's pastors strive to teach your children about the love of Jesus Christ. We provide a safe and exciting environment. We believe each adult serving in our children's ministry has been called by God to serve and teach children. The children's sanctuary is very attractive and "kid friendly". We welcome you and your child to stop by and take a look around and meet our children's pastors. "Fun Time in the Lord is our Goal!" Children's Ministry Staff

"But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the New Beginnings is a group of ladies who meet every other Tuesday to pray for the needs in the church. It is headed up by Susie Moneypenny and Wanda Arbogast. Anyone is welcome to join them! |
PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY Our Prayer Shawl Ministry knits/crochets prayer shawls of various shapes, sizes and patterns. The shawls are prayed over, anointed with oil and placed in the treasure chest at the front of the church. They are available for anyone who would like one, either for themselves or to give to someone else. The ministry is based on Acts 19:12 - "So that from his (Paul's) body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them." It is our desire that the person receiving a shawl will feel the peace, presence and comfort of the Lord. The ladies take turns hosting the meeting in their homes every Wednesday evening at 6:00 p.m. Please call Vicki Hommes at 304-439-5303 or email her at fvhommes@aol.com for the weekly meeting place. Anyone who would like to learn to knit/crochet is also welcome to attend! Carrie Luzader is head of the Prayer Shawl Ministry "The Maker of bright and beautiful things sends His beloved a bouquet of blessings too many to count, too costly to buy, too precious to waste, too dear to deny. Hand-picked and bound by Love's crimson cord, delivered in person, a gift from the Lord." -Marleen Chase |
